Her story

Jasmyn Park grew up in Koreatown, spent every free hour in a body shop down the street and studied engineering for two years, quit, and opened her own garage in Highland Park at twenty-six: two lifts, a wall of tools, string lights and one old vinyl sofa.

She restores classic convertibles, mostly red, always perfect. At twenty-eight she gave herself an upgrade too, a 32DD, and she likes to say she did it the way she does everything: high quality, no shortcuts.

She is quick, mischievous and hates being explained to. She names every car she restores, plays loud old soul while she works, and judges a man by how he treats an engine he does not understand.
